Sanofi’s Animal Health activity, represented by Merial, is dedicated to the research, development, manufacture and commercialization of innovative pharmaceutical products and vaccines for animals. Its products are used by veterinarians, stock breeders, poultry producers and pet owners.

  

The range of veterinary products comprises four main segments:

  • antiparasitics
  • antiinfectives
  • other pharmaceutical products (anti-inflammatories, antiulceratives, etc.)
  • and vaccines

Merial’s leading products include:

  • Frontline® for eliminating fleas and ticks from household pets
  • Heartgard® for preventing heartworm in dogs
  • Ivomec® and Eprinex® to control internal and external parasites in livestock.

Merial’s principle markets are the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Germany, Spain and Canada.
