Elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
A procedure performed in non-emergency cases, when the patient is not in an acute phase of CAD.

A blood clot that travels through the bloodstream until it lodges in a narrowed vessel and blocks blood circulation.
An anticoagulant agent known as low-molecular-weight heparin. Enoxaparin is mainly known by the brand name Clexane® in Europe and Lovenox® in the USA.
