Definitions beginning with the letter R

Registered Share

Share registered in the name of the holder in the books of the issuer. In the case of fully registered shares, the issuer provides the full range of securities services. Sanofi has appointed BNP Paribas as its agent for the management of fully registered shares. Administered registered shares are deposited in an account with a financial intermediary chosen by the shareholder.
