We R Hope
With 3 000 researchers working across the globe and around the clock, we are committed to bringing hope to patients through research. By working closely with the patients we serve and taking a special interest in their quality of life, we ensure that our research will truly impact their lives for the better. Watch “We R Hope”, a video program to learn more about our research efforts together with our partners – the best in their fields – to provide new innovative solutions for patients.
Hope begins with people
We are 3 000 researchers across North America, France, Germany and Asia, focusing on the real needs of patients and bringing hope through research.
New Hope for patients with Parkinson’s disease
Collaborating with our partners, including the Michael J Fox Foundation, we are working on a LRRK2 genetic mutation, “Parkinson’s switch”, to try and stop the progression of the disease.
New Hope for patients with cancer
With antibody-drug conjugates, we are working on new ways to deliver “killing” molecules to tumors, to offer individualized treatments to cancer patients.
New Hope for patients with Huntington’s disease
Huntington’s is a devastating hereditary disease with no cure. Our researchers have identified and are trying to silence a mutant “Huntington” gene to stop the disease.
New Hope in infectious diseases
New genomic methods for studying how bacteria naturally fight off other bacteria offer promise for new antibiotics.
New Hope for patients with cardiomyopathies
Working together with MyoKardia, we are trying to develop therapies that help the diseased heart work like a normal heart, using heart muscle modulating treatments.
New Hope for patients with diabetes
We are working on naturally occurring hormones or peptides that regulate blood sugar, body weight and other diabetes-related conditions, to potentially treat diabetes and its complications.
